ENERGY. ART. INFLUENCE

Our Story

Six Thirty Dance Company was launched in June 2025 to push Bahamian dance into a new era. The country’s major stages have been dominated by tradition — works that preserve heritage but rarely innovate. The company’s movement vocabulary is contemporary, abstract, and modern, creating repertory that reflects the human experience through a Bahamian lens.

This is a company defined by boldness, originality, and risk. Its dancers and choreographers are unapologetic in their pursuit of work that is daring, innovating, and globally relevant. Every performance is built with discipline and intention, and every piece is a declaration that Bahamian dance is capable of standing on the world stage.

Join Our Creative Team

We are calling for Rehearsal Directors and Resident Choreographers to shape the future of Six Thirty’s repertory. These roles demand vision, leadership, and a commitment to pushing Bahamian dance into new territory. Candidates should bring proven experience in contemporary choreography and rehearsal direction, with the ability to guide dancers toward excellence on national and international stages.

UPCOMING AUDITIONS

Six Thirty Dance Company is opening another audition round to expand its roster of dance artists. We are seeking disciplined, daring performers with strong contemporary backgrounds and the ability to tell bold stories through movement. Dancers selected will join the company in creating repertory that is abstract, modern, and unapologetically Bahamian.
